The world-class polo
player describes his bride Be as his anchor
Although the couple met
at a polo match, Be admits she didn't even know how to ride when they
first started going out
The couple are expecting their first child at
the beginning of next year, the anniversary of their first romantic encounter.
Be already has two daughters, Ashley, 14, and nine-year-old Autumn, from her
first marriage. "Jack wants us to have his own family polo team," says Be.
"There's already him and Autumn, so we need two polo babies to complete the
team."
A professional polo player since leaving Harrow at 17, Jack has
a match-packed schedule over the summer months, so he and Be chose a Monday -
the polo international day of rest - for their wedding, to make sure all Jack's
friends were able to attend. And polo is the theme. The couple are having a
civil service on consecrated ground at the Hurlingham Club in London, where
polo's first rules were drawn up in 1874. Be's daughters will be bridesmaids
and Jack's sister Jemma the maid of honour. |

POLO PLAYER JACK KIDD INTRODUCES HIS AMERICAN BRIDE BE KEMENY
who is expecting the
couple's first child |

Jack Kidd has been many things in his 26 years:
polo player - he has played polo for England since he was 16 - model and man
about town. And now, following his wedding this week to 34-year-old American Be
Kemeny, he embarks on two new roles ? those of husband and father. Although the
two first met three years ago at a polo match in Barbados, nothing happened
until Millenium eve. "Be was in a beautiful black dress and couldn't stop
smiling at me as I danced like crazy," recalls Jack. "I was attracted by Be's
kindness, gentleness and uncomplicated approach to life and I knew instantly
that this was it, that Be was going to be my big love." |

Jack says that some of his previous
girlfriends provoked a less than enthusiastic response from his sisters
Jodie and Jemma, but they are thrilled about his relationship with Be
