The 44-year-old mother
of four says she
is delighted to be making a starring
appearance in the
West End, including a
scene in which she strips off. "It is a bit
daunting, but it’s just a little strip scene,"
says Jerry.
And for 22 years she
didn’t have to. As Mick Jagger’s other half, she put up with his
promiscuity with an ethereal good grace, until the Rolling Stone got hit with a
paternity suit from Brazilian model Luciana Morad. “I have no animosity
towards the child, but it was one of the things that pushed the split along.
Mick and I were not in a good place anyway, but it didn’t
help.”
Now single, Jerry is embracing the dating game with gusto.
“I’m enjoying myself,” she reveals. “I have a nice dinner,
a good conversation and sometimes a little kissing, but that’s as much
detail as I’d like to go into.”

Jerry Hall is happy.
Jerry Hall is delighted. Jerry Hall claims to be as blissed out as any
newly-divorced, 44-year-old mother of four has any right to be. “Oh, life
is jest wunnerful, I think all this is an absolute miracle,” she cries,
waving her long arms around the room. “I kinda thought I had missed the
boat as an actress, but here I am.” By the time you read this the Texan
siren will be preparing for her first night as Mrs Robinson in the West End
production of The Graduate.“Ah’m enjoying it, the director is
a dream,” she drawls. “I always heard that a good director was better
than sex and you know what? Now I understand why people say that.”
Ah, sex. Jerry Hall exudes sex appeal. In spades. She is a monstruous
flirt, frequently fluffing up her hair and tossing it over her shoulder in a
perfumed cloud, crossing her legs to reveal about a yard of tanned thigh and
smooth calf. The effect she has on men must be shattering. “Yuh,” she
affirms. “I totally understand sexual power play but I try not to practise
it too much.” |
Despite the split, Jerry
and Mick remain
close and are determined to do what’s
best for
their children. |
