One of the original Baywatch beauties, Pamela
now has her own TV series, V.I.P., of which
she is executive producer

Pamela Anderson's Spanish-tiled house on the edge of Malibu was the scene of many tears after her volatile marriage to Tommy Lee, father of her two sons, Brandon, four, and Dylan, two, went sour in 1998. But for the voluptuous actress, today her home has turned into a veritable Shangri-la, a place where love abounds for her children and the new man in her life, top Swedish model Marcus Schenkenberg, who she met in Monte Carlo at the World Music Awards.

"I'm the happiest woman alive," says the 33-year-old star. "I'm living a fairy tale come true with my very own Prince Charming."

"I have never met anyone like Marcus. He's so sweet and wonderful. We became very close very fast. It's been magical, something that I thought could only happen in the movies."

Her love for Marcus is exactly what she has dreamed about for so long. "I feel as if my house has been blessed again. Just like I felt when my two sons were born. I couldn't be happier." And there are rumours that the pair are to marry later in the year.

Pamela has made peace with her ex-husband, musician Tommy Lee, who was arrested for domestic violence. "Life is so much better without Tommy," she says. "We were too young, too much into a crazy relationship. He's a good dad. That's all I can expect or hope from him. I wish him well in his life, and I hope he gets the help he needs."

More wisdom that Pamela has gained as she's got older is to stop blaming others for her problems. "I've learned to take responsibility for my own life and never again rely on someone else. Today I am very independent. I make money, so I can look after myself and my children." But does she believe anyone else is giving her a helping hand? "I have two guardian angels," she claims, "a British man named Richard and a golden eagle." And what do they tell her? "To take each opportunity, each chance that God is sending me and to believe that everything is a blessing, even if it's one in disguise."
