It is generally
acknowledged that mixing business with pleasure is not the wisest of moves, but
actors Stuart Wade and Tonicha Jeronimo are proof that the two can go together.
Like a horse and carriage, in fact. The couple finally sealed their love with
marriage after a hefty three-and-a-half year engagement, during which time
their son Lorcan, now nine months, was born.
The picturesque church
of Our Lady St Mary was chosen for the big day, on the beautiful holiday island
of Jersey, where Tonicha was born. Dressed in a silk chiffon dress with a
cappuccino-coloured bodice, embroidered with gold silk, the actress floated up
the aisle on the arm of her Portuguese father Antonio, a professor in catering
who had flown over from Madeira for his daughter's big day. Chief bridesmaid
was the actress' elder sister Filipa, who shared the honour with TJ's
goddaughter Kelly Anne. Eldest sister Lisa also attended, with her husband
Charles and their baby son Ben. And no-one was more proud than their mother
Susan, as she watched her ex-husband give their youngest daughter away.
On the groom's side, his parents Sheila and Stuart senior were present for
their son's big day, with their other son Mark. But pride of place went to the
newly-weds' son Lorcan, who was born last November. |
