Shereen is the new weathergirl for
breakfast channel GMTV
Shereen and Max made the
most of their stay at the
18th-century Newmiln House Hotel
HELLO! caught up with Shereen and Max as they
spent a romantic break together in a Perth hotel. The couple met when she was
presenting a live breakfast show for Lanarkshire TV and was looking for a
co-presenter. "Numerous videos arrived, but Max just stood out. I invited
him in and we got on so well that I asked if he'd do the programme with
me."
Shereen had no idea that Max was interested in her romantically. "He asked
me to dinner and kept rushing to the loo. He told me later he was so nervous he
was getting palpitations! At the end of the evening he grabbed me and said,
'I've just got to kiss you.' But I needed time to think about getting involved,
so I patted his bottom and said, 'Patience.'" |

take a rare romantic break back home in Scotland
Few people outside Scotland had heard of
Shereen Tulloch at this time last year, but within a week of becoming GMTV's
new weather presenter she hit the headlines. She got a dramatic introduction to
life in the public eye when Chris Evans saw her, talked about her at length on
his radio show, then asked her to do the weather. When the 34-year-old saw an
advertisement for GMTV's Scottish correspondent, she applied for it, before
they contacted her asking if she fancied presenting weather. It would mean
starting again and leaving Max, her partner of more than a year. Needless to
say, within a week, she'd moved to London. "If you don't do things, you'll
regret it. At least I'll be able to sit back, childless, without a husband, on
my own, and say, 'I did it!'" she jokes. |

"It was very quiet, tranquil, we
really
enjoyed ourselves. For me suddenly to
get away from London and go somewhere
as quiet as that was wonderful."
