Angelina wears her heart on her sleeve,
with the name of her new husband tattooed
on her upper arm
Despite the 19-year age gap,
there is evidently a lot of electricity
between Angelina and
Billy Bob Thornton |
But working away is proving to be pretty tough for the Oscar-winning
actress. I miss him every second, she confesses. I write him
letters and call him three times a day so I always feel him next to me, even if
he is miles away.
The couples decision to get hitched was a spur of the moment thing.
We had talked about not getting married because we felt married already
and we knew there would never be anybody else in our lives, beams the
actress. But I was going to shoot Tomb Raider in England and we
decided we didnt want to be just girlfriend and boyfriend anymore, so we
flew to LA for a quick ceremony on May 5. |

Oscar-winning actress
barely able
to contain her delight over her recent marriage to actor-director Billy Bob
Thornton
Forget about her Oscar and three Golden Globes. Forget about the huge
success of her latest film Gone In 60 Seconds. Forget about her upcoming
role as feisty Lara Croft, in the film version of the cult computer game
Tomb Raider, for which she is currently undergoing weapon and fight
training. The only thing beautiful and eccentric Angelina Jolie wants to talk
about is how incredibly in love she is with her new husband, actor-director
Billy Bob Thornton.
The couple first met on the set of the movie Pushing Tin in 1998.
The first moment I saw him, he took my breath away and I literally walked
into a wall, recalls Angelina, the daughter of Jon Voight. For me
it was love at first sight. He has grounded me. Before, I used to feel I was
only alive five per cent of the time. |
