Photographed at the Hyatt
Carlton Tower Hotel in London,
Vanessa opts for a night in white

Vanessa Feltz has discovered that she has more resilience than she ever dreamt of. And she's learned that out of despair can come laughter and hope. After losing her husband, surgeon Michael Kurer, who left her six months ago, the TV presenter has become an inspiration to others. She´s lost 5 stone, shrinking from a size 24 to a curvy size 12 ? and she's still losing 2 lb a week. Much speculation has also been made of the platinum blonde's love life, with one newspaper claiming recently that she had "a turnover in boyfriends to rival any teenager." Vanessa says this is not true, that she's happy being single and wants to allow time for the wounds of her broken marriage to heal.

"I get quite a few offers of dates, I'm glad to say, but it's not something I'm comfy with," says Vanessa. "I've always been a one-man woman and I thought I'd be married for life."
