Bonnie and Paul show off the expectant mum's
bump in the sitting room of their Surrey house

"Paul and I always wanted a baby, but work plans made us think, 'Now's not the right time.'We settled for 'If it happens, it happens,' and it did - surprisingly soon I was craving red jelly and white chocolate!"

Husband Paul already has a daughter, nine-year-old Natasha, who lives with them for half the week. She is joking that the baby will emerge bald with glasses like her dad!

Bonnie and Paul, her co-star from Me And My Girl, married five years ago, and describe their relationship as brilliant. "We're made for each other," says Paul. "We have our disagreements, but there's never a storming off." So far Bonnie's pregnancy hasn't meant she's had to change her lifestyle too much. "I've changed my car from a sporty cabriolet to something more sensible. I still do three ballet classes a week - it's good for the baby and it's good for my brain."
