invite HELLO! into their fabulous new house and, surrounded by their three children talk about their love for each other

With a new £2 million, eight-bedroom home, three glorious children aged between eight and three, and a packed TV presenting schedule, it is hard to see how Jonathan Ross and his wife Jane Goldman could make their life any busier. Writer Jane confesses that she and her husband are feeling very broody at the moment. “After Honey was born I gave away all my maternity clothes, pushchairs and everything! But we’re both quite keen and so are the children.”

The devoted couple incurred a marital hiccup last year, when Jane suffered a serious bout of depression and instigated a trial separation. Happily it only lasted for ten days before she was back in Jonathan’s arms again. “No-one has a perfect marriage, but we’re very fortunate in that we’ve never had anything horrible happen. You go through periods of tension and have to work out the best way to deal with them,” says Jane on their short-lived separation.

Jonathan, presenter of Film 2000, It’s Only TV But I Like It and a Radio 2 DJ, is only too aware of the importance of his family. “On Sunday I was walking with the children in the park and I was thinking how, without them and without Jane, everything I do would seem pointless.”
