Kate Middleton community garden outfit
It’s all about nature! Kate Middleton took to the great outdoors for her first royal engagement of 2019. On Tuesday, January 15, the Duchess of Cambridge paid a visit to the Islington Community Garden. During her engagement, Kate explored how the project brings the community together through planting food and flowers.
Never one to pass up an opportunity to explore the outdoors, the mother-of-three participated in a round of fun activities that saw her visiting bees, building birdhouses and having an outdoor pizza party. The special engagement comes after it was announced that Prince William’s wife will showcase the “Back to Nature” garden at this year’s Chelsea Flower Show.
“Based on Woodland,” the ‘Back to Nature’ garden seeks to recapture for adults the sense of wonder and magic that they enjoyed as children,” Kensington Palace confirmed. “In addition to kindling excitement and a passion for nature in future generations.” Scroll ahead to see more from Kate’s fun day out.

Pizza Party
Kate rolled out the dough as she joined students from St. Jude and St. Paul’s primary schools for an outdoor pizza party. The ingredients used are harvested from the garden.
George, Charlotte and Louis’ mother had the perfect reaction when a young girl asked her if the Queen likes pizza. “That’s a good question,” she replied. “I don’t know…maybe next time I see her, shall I ask her?”
