Meghan Markle spent time in the garden with her "little loves" over the weekend. On Sunday, the Duchess of Sussex took to her Instagram to share new photos of her son Prince Archie and daughter Princess Lilibet collecting roses.
"Sunday kind of love….with my little loves," the mom of two captioned the post.
Meghan was pictured smiling and holding a pink rose in one photo with her three-year-old daughter Lilibet, whose long red hair was on display. Meanwhile, five-year-old Archie, who has darker red hair, appeared in two pictures—one where he’s picking a rose, and another where he sweetly shows it to the camera."
While the Sussex kids have taken after their father, Prince Harry, when it comes to their hair, Archie and Lilibet seem to have inherited their mom's love for gardening. Meghan has previously shared that her children have their own gardening tools. In the second episode of her Netflix series With Love, Meghan, the Duchess said, "Our kids have real sets. They take their gardening seriously."
Archie will be turning 6 on May 6. At the TIME100 summit in New York last week, Meghan revealed that her son was close to hitting a milestone. On stage, the Duchess shared that Archie was going to lose his first tooth "this week." She said, "[It's] about to happen and I just hope we're back home in time for it."
The Duke and Duchess, who have been living in California since 2020, welcomed their son in 2019 and their daughter in 2021. Earlier this month, Meghan admitted in an episode of her podcast, Confessions of a Female Founder, that her "favorite" title is mom.
"I love being a mom so much. It's my favorite thing," she gushed. "It is the thing where you're like, ‘Oh my gosh, I just need a break, I just need a minute, I just need a minute.’ And the second that you step into the room, you go... Let me scroll through pictures of them endlessly on my phone. My husband is like, ‘My love, can you just give yourself a minute? Why don't you go work out? Why don't you go take a bath?’ I'm like, 'I know, but I just want to cuddle.' It's the parenting paradigm where it is so full on and I wouldn’t trade it for anything.”
