Happy birthday, Princess Rajwa! Queen Rania and King Abdullah II of Jordan's daughter-in-law turned 31 on Monday, April 28. Crown Prince Hussein commemorated his wife's special day with a heartfelt tribute on his Instagram. Alongside a sweet photo of the two of them holding hands, Hussein penned, translated to English, "Precious Mother of Precious .. Every year, you are the light of my life and Iman."
The Crown Prince, 30, additionally wrote in English, "Happy birthday Rajwa! Grateful for the love, kindness, and warmth you bring into Iman’s life and mine."
Rajwa also received a birthday wish from her mother-in-law Rania, who shared Hussein's post on her personal Instagram Story, writing in all caps: "Wishing you a lovely birthday ❤️."
For her birthday last year, the Royal Hashemite Court released two portraits of the Princess, one of which showed Rajwa wearing her wedding tiara. Weeks before her 30th birthday, it was announced that Rajwa and Hussein, who wed in 2023, were expecting their first child.
This year marks Rajwa's first birthday since becoming a mom. The Princess and Crown Prince welcomed their first child, daughter Princess Iman bint Al Hussein bin Abdullah II, last year. Queen Rania and King Abdullah's first grandchild was born on Aug. 3, 2024 at the King Hussein Medical Center. In a statement announcing the newborn Princess' birth, the Royal Hashemite Court said: "Their Royal Highnesses are immensely overjoyed and thankful on welcoming their firstborn, and call on well-wishers to consider donating to Al-Aman Fund for the Future of Orphans in lieu of sending gifts or flowers."
Following his daughter Iman's arrival, Hussein wrote on his Instagram: "Praise be to God for His abundant blessings. We are immensely grateful for the safe birth of our daughter and the health of my beloved wife, Rajwa."
The Crown Prince added, "Our heartfelt thanks to our family and the Jordanian people for their kind wishes, which deeply touched us during these special moments."
Princess Rajwa celebrated her first Mother's Day in Jordan last month. In honor of the holiday, Crown Prince Hussein shared pictures of his mother and wife, each with baby Princess Iman, on Instagram, which he captioned: "To my beloved mother and my loving wife, your presence fills our lives with joy, and your love is the true meaning of giving. Happy Mother’s Day."
