Eight-month-old Princess Iman of Jordan accompanied her parents to Bahrain. Crown Prince Hussein and his wife Princess Rajwa brought their baby girl with them to a meeting with King Hamad Bin Isa Al Khalifa, King of the Kingdom of Bahrain.
According to the Crown Prince's official photographer, Hamzah Azoq, the meeting took place on April 12.
Baby Iman looked adorable wearing a sleeveless dress that featured a tulle skirt, while her mother was dressed in a blouse and floral skirt from Erdem. The Royal Hashemite Court released two photos from the royals' visit to Bahrain, both showing the little Princess with her mom, dad and King of Bahrain. Iman was photographed on her mother's lap in one picture, and in Princess Rajwa's arms in another. The trip marked the royal baby's first official visit abroad.
Iman is the Crown Prince and Princess Rajwa's first child, and Queen Rania and King Abdullah II's first grandchild. Hussein and his wife, who tied the knot in 2023, became parents last year. Their daughter Iman was born on Aug, 3, 2024 at the King Hussein Medical Center.
In a statement announcing Iman's birth, the Royal Hashemite Court said: "Their Royal Highnesses are immensely overjoyed and thankful on welcoming their firstborn, and call on well-wishers to consider donating to Al-Aman Fund for the Future of Orphans in lieu of sending gifts or flowers."
Following his daughter's arrival, Crown Prince Hussein wrote on his Instagram: "Praise be to God for His abundant blessings. We are immensely grateful for the safe birth of our daughter and the health of my beloved wife, Rajwa."
He added, "Our heartfelt thanks to our family and the Jordanian people for their kind wishes, which deeply touched us during these special moments."
The royal baby's name is a "feminine Arabic name meaning 'belief' and 'faith.'" Per the Royal Hashemite Court, "It is customary in Arab and Muslim cultures to choose meaningful names for children, and it is a longstanding tradition for the Hashemite Family to adopt authentic Arabic names for its family members." Hussein has previously shared that his daughter is his sister Princess Iman's "namesake."
Princess Rajwa celebrated her first Mother's Day last month. Hussein marked the holiday in Jordan with pictures of his wife and his own mom, Queen Rania, with baby Iman. Alongside the post, the Crown Prince penned: "To my beloved mother and my loving wife, your presence fills our lives with joy, and your love is the true meaning of giving. Happy Mother’s Day."
