Dubai’s Crown Prince, Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, has welcomed his fourth child, becoming a father once again. Known as Fazza on social media and through his poetry, he shared a heartwarming photo with his followers. In the picture, he’s holding his newborn daughter, capturing a tender moment between father and daughter. Along with the photo, he also revealed her name.
Sheikh Hamdan shared a photo to welcome his baby girl, Hind. The name, which has Arabic roots, means 'lady' or 'noble woman.' It can also refer to someone from India or a woman of noble lineage.
In the picture, the Crown Prince of Dubai is gently holding his newborn, looking at her with love. She’s dressed in a white onesie and hat, wrapped in a matching blanket.
It’s worth remembering that the baby isn’t the Crown Prince of Dubai’s first child. Known as Fazza, he had twins in 2021—a girl and a boy named Sheikha and Rashid. The names honor his mother and grandfather, according to Dubai's media office at the time.
Back then, Hamdan—also known internationally as Hamdan of Dubai—shared the news with a similar photo. He posed sitting down, holding the twins in each arm, wearing the traditional Emirati kandora and a white turban. Behind him was a portrait of his late grandfather, Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
In February 2023, together with his wife, Sheikha Sheikha bint Saeed bin Thani—whom he married in May 2019—he welcomed their third child: Mohammed bin Hamdan bin Mohammed Al Maktoum.
That same year, in May, Emir Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan—also known internationally as MBZ and President of the UAE—issued a decree naming his eldest son, Sheikh Khalid, as Crown Prince of the Gulf emirate.
Recently, Prince Khalid has worked in Abu Dhabi’s Executive Office and overseen matters related to the Executive Council. He also serves as chairman of ADNOC’s board, the national oil company of Abu Dhabi.
