Victoire Ducruet is 2! Princess Stephanie of Monaco's older granddaughter celebrated her second birthday on April 4. Louis and Marie Ducruet shared snapshots from their firstborn's party on Instagram. One picture captured by HOLA! USA's sister brand HELLO! showed Marie holding the birthday girl next to a two-tiered cake decorated with Minnie Mouse, while Louis looked on next to them. The cake was on display in a grand room featuring a chandelier.
Victoire's Minnie Mouse-themed birthday celebration also featured a balloon arch, as well as personalized Kinder Country and Kinder Bueno bars. The two year old appears to be a Disney fan. Back in February, Victoire dressed up as the Disney princess Snow White for a birthday party that she attended with her parents and baby sister, Constance Ducruet. Louis wore a prince costume for the occasion, while Marie was dressed as a witch and Constance seemingly as Grumpy from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.
"A Princess and her Prince, the Witch and "a" dwarf 😜❤️💛💙," Marie captioned the family pictures (translated to English).
Louis and Marie, who have been married since 2019, welcomed their first child, Victoire, in 2023. Three days after her daughter's birth, Marie officially introduced Victoire on Instagram, writing (translated to English): “Our little family has grown with the arrival of our little Victoire ❤️.”
In an interview with Point de Vue, published by HOLA! USA's sister brand HELLO! in January 2024, Louis recalled his mother Princess Stephanie's reaction to her first grandchild. "It was incredibly emotional," he shared. "She came to the maternity ward the day after Victoire's birth, alongside my dad [Daniel Ducruet] and my paternal grandmother, as well as Marie's mum. It was a magical moment that I'll never forget."
Victoire became a big sister this past December. Louis and Marie's second daughter, Constance Ducruet, was born on Dec. 2. Alongside a photo of her newborn's feet, and pictures of Victoire sweetly holding her baby sister's hand and reaching for Constance's hospital bassinet, Marie wrote on Instagram (translated to English): "Our family is growing again with the arrival of our little Constance ♥️ Someone was eager to meet her 🥰."
Months before announcing that they were expecting their second child, Marie admitted to Point de Vue that "two children would be perfect for" her. At the time, Louis added, "We'd like our children not to have a big age gap. We'll see what the future holds!"
