Rajwa was pictured smiling as she tenderly cradled her baby girl, who looked adorable, seemingly wearing a lilac tutu. Hussein also included a photo of his mother, Queen Rania, with her first grandchild, Iman.

Alongside the images, the Crown Prince wrote, "‏To my beloved mother and my loving wife, your presence fills our lives with joy, and your love is the true meaning of giving. Happy Mother’s Day."

Rajwa and Hussein, who wed in 2023, welcomed Princess Iman on Aug. 3, 2024 at the King Hussein Medical Center. In a statement announcing the little Princess' birth, the Royal Hashemite Court said: "Their Royal Highnesses are immensely overjoyed and thankful on welcoming their firstborn, and call on well-wishers to consider donating to Al-Aman Fund for the Future of Orphans in lieu of sending gifts or flowers."

Following his daughter's arrival, Crown Prince Hussein wrote on his Instagram: "Praise be to God for His abundant blessings. We are immensely grateful for the safe birth of our daughter and the health of my beloved wife, Rajwa."

He added, "Our heartfelt thanks to our family and the Jordanian people for their kind wishes, which deeply touched us during these special moments."

Princess Iman bint Al Hussein bin Abdullah II's name is a "feminine Arabic name meaning 'belief' and 'faith.'" According to the Royal Hashemite Court, "It is customary in Arab and Muslim cultures to choose meaningful names for children, and it is a longstanding tradition for the Hashemite Family to adopt authentic Arabic names for its family members." Hussein has previously shared that his daughter is his sister Princess Iman's "namesake.

It was not only Rajwa's first Mother's Day on Friday, but also her sister-in-law's. Hussein's sister Princess Iman and her husband Jameel Alexander Thermiotis became first-time parents last month. The couple's daughter, Amina, was born on Feb. 16 at the Prince Hashem bin Abdullah II Hospital in Aqaba. Sharing pictures of his newborn niece with his daughter Iman, Hussein wrote: "‏Welcome to the family, Amina! May you be a source of joy for your parents and a loving sister and lifelong companion to my daughter."
