Meghan Markle is hitting the airwaves once again. The Duchess of Sussex has announced an all-new podcast: Confessions of a Female Founder. "I’ve been having candid conversations with amazing women who have turned dreams into realities, and scaled small ideas into massively successful businesses," she shared on March 13. "They’re opening up, sharing their tips, tricks (and tumbles), and letting me pick their brains as I build out my own business, As ever. It has been absolutely eye-opening, inspiring…and fun! (Because what’s the point if we can’t have some fun on this wild adventure?)."
Stephanie Wittels Wachs, Lemonada’s chief creative officer and co-founder, described Meghan as “a warm and welcoming person,” noting, “you feel that in her interviews.” “She creates a comfortable space for her guests to bring fascinating personal stories to the table and open up in a way they likely haven’t before publicly. Listeners can expect conversations that are way more break room than boardroom," Stephanie added.
The announcement comes over two years after the debut of Meghan’s Archetypes podcast, which Spotify canceled following one season. After parting ways with Spotify, the Duchess inked a “new creative partnership” with Lemonada Media in 2024. At the time, Meghan said, “I’m proud to now be able to share that I am joining the brilliant team at Lemonada to continue my love of podcasting.”
“Being able to support a female founded company with a roster of thought provoking and highly entertaining podcasts is a fantastic way to kick off 2024,” she continued, revealing that she would be launching a “dynamic new podcast.”
