Has Meghan Markle filmed a new season of her show? Everything we know about Season 2 of 'With Love, Meghan'

With Love, Meghan is coming back. Meghan Markle's Netflix series has been renewed for a second season. The renewal announcement came just three days after the lifestyle show, produced by the Duchess of Sussex, debuted. "If you’re loving Season 1, just wait until you see the fun we cooked up on Season 2!" Meghan teased on her Instagram. "Thanks for joining the party, and an endless thanks to the amazing team and crew who helped bring it all to life! @netflix."

The Duchess also celebrated the news with a video on her Instagram Story. Alongside a video of herself sporting a hat embroidered with the words "Lettuce romaine calm," Meghan wrote: "Lettuce romaine calm...or not (!) because I'm thrilled to share that Season 2 of 'With Love, Meghan' is coming!"

With Love, Meghan premiered on March 4. "The series is about doing what you can do,” Meghan told PEOPLE, “and doing it with love.” 

According to PEOPLE, a friend who visited the Duchess on set came up with the show's name. “Their takeaway was they were so happy to see me as myself,” Meghan recalled. “She said, ‘It’s like your love letter to all the things you’ve loved to do, and if you’re signing off a love letter, it’s 'With love, Meghan,'" adding, "It felt right, and I loved that my friend helped create it.”

The first season of With Love, Meghan featured a variety of guests, including Abigail Spencer, Alice Waters, Roy Choi and Mindy Kaling. During an appearance on The Drew Barrymore Show, the Duchess said, "What was I think for me really fun about doing the series is I could have some of my older friendships that I've had since middle school even that are still in my life and I think at the end of the day you just really want to be able to show up with those people and equally meet people exactly where you are today so Mindy's a great example of that or some of the other guests that came on that I hadn't had close bonds with I knew a little bit of and then you just get to play and you're in the kitchen playing and making mistakes and having fun together and I think that's what I'm hoping translates."

No. The first season of the show was filmed at a nearby rental. “I wanted to protect that safe haven,” the Duchess explained to PEOPLE. “We’re a close-knit family, and I love those moments — putting Lili down for a nap, having lunch together, having sacred time together at the end of the day. Our kitchen is where Mama just cooks for the family, and with a crew of 80-plus people, that’s a lot of people to have in your house!”
