King Abdullah II of Jordan looks every inch the doting grandfather in a new photo with his granddaughter Princess Iman. Crown Prince Hussein took to his Instagram on Saturday, Feb. 8, to share a picture of his six-month-old daughter and his father sharing a sweet moment.

"❤️ Iman & Jiddo," Hussein wrote alongside the photo of the little Princess with her hands adorably on her grandfather's face.

Iman is the King and Queen Rania's first grandchild. Hussein and his wife Princess Rajwa welcomed their daughter Iman on Aug. 3, 2024 at the King Hussein Medical Center. King Abdullah II celebrated his granddaughter's arrival at the time, writing on his X account (translated to English): "Praise be to God who gave us our first granddaughter, Iman bint Al-Hussein. I congratulate Al-Hussein and Rajwa Al-Azizan on their newborn baby. We ask God to give her good growth and protect her for her parents. You enlightened our family, grandfather."

Meanwhile, Rania wrote on her X account: "Praise be to God for His greatest gifts... You have enlightened our lives with our precious granddaughter, Iman. May God protect us from you. Congratulations to Hussein and Rajwa, and may God fill your lives with blessings and contentment."

The Queen also shared a carousel of photos featuring her granddaughter on her Instagram, writing: "Iman, you’ve already got a hold of my heart. Our family has never been happier! ♥️."

The King and Queen are set to become grandparents for a second time. Their Majesties' daughter Princess Iman and her husband Jameel Thermiotis are expecting their first child together. Rania announced her daughter's pregnancy last month with a photo of Iman, 28, showing off her baby bump as she faced Jameel. "Two is a couple, three is a blessing ❤️," Rania penned in the caption.

The Queen also wrote (translated to English), "Both are dear to my heart, but the coming one is more precious 😉 ..... May God end well."

Prior to her kids getting married, Rania revealed that her goal was to be a "fun grandma." During an appearance on Good Morning America in 2022, the Queen said: “I used to always say my favorite title is mama, but I think that’s going to quickly change” to the “Arabic word for grandma.”

“My goal is to be like fun grandma,” Rania added. "We have a saying in Arabic that no person is dearer to us more than our children than our grandchildren. So I’m really excited to have babies in my life soon."
