Being a mother has made the holiday season even more "magical" for Lady Kitty Spencer. Ahead of Christmas, Princess Diana's 34-year-old niece shared rare photos of her daughter Athena. The adorable snapshots, which included pictures of the mother-daughter duo admiring Christmas trees together and holding hands while riding a carousel, were taken in Monaco.
"The most wonderful time of the year 🎄 made even more magical seeing it through Athena’s eyes ✨💫," Kitty captioned the images on Dec. 23.
"Puppy🥰😍😍♥️♥️♥️🥹," Kitty's younger sister Lady Eliza Spencer commented on the Instagram post. Their sister Lady Amelia Spencer also reacted to the pictures, simply writing: "😍😍😍😍."
Additional photos of Athena, along with a photo and video from her first birthday, which appears to have been themed around the Disney movie The Aristocats, were included in a video that Kitty posted on New Year's Eve. "Thank you 2024. Feeling huge gratitude for a year of health, happiness, travel & laughter - but most importantly motherhood, love and plenty of family time 💜☀️🐚," she wrote alongside the video. "Wishing everyone a wonderful 2025! Xx."
Kitty revealed last March on Mother’s Day—in the UK—that she had a child. While she didn't share her baby's name or gender at the time, Prince William and Prince Harry's cousin penned: “It’s the joy of my life to be your mummy, little one. I love you unconditionally 🤍 Happy Mother’s Day to those who celebrate today 🤍."
Months later in June, the doting mom revealed her little one's name with a sweet photo that showed her daughter gazing out a window, while she kissed her baby girl's head. Alongside the picture, Kitty wrote: "Athena watching the world go by 🤍."
It's unclear when exactly Kitty welcomed her first child. The Centrepoint ambassador, who is the daughter of Princess Diana’s younger brother Charles Spencer, has been married to Michael Lewis since 2021.
