Happy New Year from Monaco's royal family! Prince Albert of Monaco's New Year's address on Tuesday featured an appearance by his wife Princess Charlene and their 10-year-old twins, Prince Jacques and Princess Gabriella. The royal mom of two and her children joined the Prince at the end of his message for 2025 to extend New Year's wishes.

"My Dear Compatriots, Dear Residents, Dear Friends, as the year 2024 draws to a close, this is a special moment for me to address you with all the respect and affection I have for each and every one of you," Prince Albert began his address (translated to English). "The past year has been marked by challenges, but also by numerous successes and the unwavering solidarity that characterizes our Monegasque community."

"At times like this, as we turn one page to write the next, I wish to pay tribute to your commitment, your resilience, and your spirit of fraternity. In Monaco, we are fortunate to live in a prosperous country, where the values of respect, openness and responsibility come together harmoniously. But this privilege comes with a responsibility to continue building a sustainable and progressive future for generations to come," he continued.

Message de vœux pour l’année 2025

Prince Albert went on to express his "gratitude to all those who work daily to enhance the Principality's influence, the institutions, businesses, associations, as well as each Monegasque and resident, who through his action, contributes to the common good." He noted that the "coming year will bring new projects, opportunities to strengthen our environmental commitments, increase our solidarity toward the most vulnerable and celebrate our shared identity."

"Together, with determination and grounded in the values that unite us, we will continue to meet the challenges ahead. In this special moment, my thoughts are also with those for whom this time of year is more difficult, with those who are suffering. To them, I want to send a message of hope and encouragement. Know that you are not alone, and that Monaco is a united family," the Prince said. "May this New Year be, for all of you, a year of happiness, health, peace, and success in your endeavors. To you, dear Monegasques, dear residents, and to all those who contribute to making our Principality a home of harmony and innovation, I wish you a bright and promising 2025."

Charlene and the couple's twins then appeared alongside Albert, who said: "In this season of celebration and sharing, our children join us in extending our best wishes to you. May this New Year bring happiness, health and success to you and to all those you hold dear."

The address concluded with the four royals wishing, "Bonne Année. Happy New Year. Bon Anu Noevu."
