Queen Silvia of Sweden had adorable little helpers as she received the Royal Palace's Christmas trees on Monday. The royal, who turns 81 on Dec. 23, was joined by all of her grandchildren: Princess Estelle, 12, Prince Oscar, 8, Prince Alexander, 8, Prince Gabriel, 7, Prince Julian, 3, Princess Leonore, 10, Prince Nicolas, 9, and Princess Adrienne, 6.

The trees were delivered by forestry students from the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences in Umeå on Dec. 16. SLU students have been delivering Christmas trees to the Royal Palace since the 1960s.

Footage shared by the Swedish Royal Court showed the Queen and her grandkids getting into the holiday spirit. The royal children, who were dressed in festive attire, were filmed decorating the trees with ornaments and tinsel.

"The kids are all so grown up and sweet 🥰🥺❤️," one Instagram user commented on the post. Another wrote, "All the kids are so cute. I can't believe that Estelle is as tall as her grandma.😍❤️."

Queen Silvia's eight grandchildren were also with her last year as she received the 2023 Christmas trees. This year marks Princess Leonore, Prince Nicolas and Princess Adrienne's first Christmas since relocating to Sweden. Princess Madeleine, her husband Christopher O’Neill and their three kids had been living in Florida since 2018, but moved to Stockholm this year. Madeleine took to her Instagram on Tuesday to share photos from the delivery of the 2024 Christmas trees, writing (translated to English): "So lovely to receive this year's Christmas trees at the Castle together with grandma and cousins. 🎄❤️ Thank you @skogisgranar!"

Prince Carl Philip and his wife Princess Sofia also shared pictures on their Instagram, which they captioned (translated to English): "Yesterday, all the grandchildren helped grandma receive this year's fir trees for the Castle. Thanks to the forest management students at SLU in Umeå! 🎄❤️." The Prince Couple is expecting their fourth child together. The Swedish Royal Court announced the news in early September, revealing at the time that the royal baby's "birth is expected to take place in February 2025." Sofia and Carl Philip are already parents to sons Prince Alexander, Prince Gabriel and Prince Julian. The Prince and Princess' baby will be Queen Silvia and King Carl XVI Gustaf's ninth grandchild.
