Princess Stephanie of Monaco is a grandmother times two! The royal's son Louis Ducruet and his wife Marie welcomed their second child, Constance Ducruet, on Dec. 2.
The Princess' daughter-in-law announced the arrival of their family's new addition on Dec. 4. Marie took to her personal Instagram to share an adorable snapshot of Constance's feet, as well as pictures of her older daughter Victoire sweetly holding her baby sister's hand and another of the 1 year old with her sister's hospital bassinet.
"Our family is growing again with the arrival of our little Constance ♥️ Someone was eager to meet her 🥰," the mom of two captioned the images (translated to English).
Family members reacted to the post with Louis' sister Camille Gottlieb commenting, "Mon amour 😍" and "Mes vies 💕," which translates to my love and my lives, while Beatrice Borromeo, who is married to Louis' cousin Pierre Casiraghi, wrote: "Congratulations @marieducruet @louisducruet so happy for you all! And what a beautiful name🥰."
The Prince's Palace of Monaco also celebrated the news, commenting (translated to English): "Congratulations! 👏👏👏."
Constance is Princess Stephanie's second grandchild. The baby joins big sister Victoire, who was born in April 2023. Marie announced in June that she and Louis were expecting their second child. Alongside photos of Victoire wearing a pink jacket embroidered with the words “Big Sis" and their dog Pancake sporting a bandana that read “Oh no, not again,” Marie penned on Instagram: “Pancake and goldilocks have an announcement to make... they are waiting for a new member in the fraternity, the family is growing 😍❤️.”
In an interview with Point de Vue (published by HELLO! earlier this year), Marie admitted that she and Louis were "not opposed to the idea" of expanding their family. "Victoire is such an adorable child, she's making us want another," she said. "Two children would be perfect for me."
Louis added, "We'd like our children not to have a big age gap. We'll see what the future holds!"
