Prince Albert and Princess Charlene of Monaco’s 2024 Christmas card photo has been released. The picture, taken by Eric Mathon, shows the royal couple and their twins, Prince Jacques and Princess Gabriella, looking cozy in neutral-colored sweaters.
Prince Albert smiled behind his wife and young kids as they posed for this year’s homey photo in front of a Christmas tree and fireplace that was decorated with a garland.
Jacques was photographed sweetly holding his twin sister’s hands in the picture, while doting mom Charlene, who was stylishly dressed in shades of brown, held her son’s left hand.
“The Princier Palace is pleased to share with you the photo of the greeting card of the Princier family,” the Prince's Palace captioned the image on Instagram (translated to English).
"🤍🤍Beautiful family photo 🤍🤍 the choice of clothes 😍 the kids are so big 💫💫 and beautiful! Beautiful festive to you all," one Instagram user commented on the picture (translated to English).
This year’s photo is more casual compared to last year’s snapshot, which saw the royals dressed in formalwear. For the glamorous 2023 picture, reportedly taken inside of the palace, Charlene donned a velvet gown and her daughter a deep burgundy velvet dress. Meanwhile, Prince Albert and his son sported black jackets and festive bow ties.
The royal family got into the holiday spirit out in Monaco days before releasing their 2024 holiday photo. Albert, Charlene and their twins launched the Christmas illuminations at the Place du Casino on Nov. 30.
The royal couple will have another special occasion to celebrate prior to the holidays. Albert and Charlene's son and daughter turn 10 on Dec. 10. Speaking to Gala magazine in an interview published last month, the royal mom of two described her daughter as "very curious."
"She is very intrigued by the world and life in general. She asks lots of questions and demands a lot of attention," Charlene said of Gabriella (translated to English). "As for Jacques, he is curious and observant. More reserved, he is naturally very calm."
