The Prince and Princess of Wales go abseiling and deliver pizzas in Wales: Photos

The Prince and Princess of Wales kicked off a two-day visit to Wales just two days before their 12th wedding anniversary. The royal couple spent Thursday afternoon with the Central Beacons Mountain Rescue Team, which is celebrating it’s 60th birthday this year.

The sporty duo went abseiling while visiting the team on April 27. “We’re not racing!” Catherine was heard telling her husband. On the first day of their visit, the Prince and Princess also personally delivered pizza from a pizza van to the nearby Dowlais Rugby Club, where members of the team are said to “typically go to relax and socialise.”

William and Catherine took part in training activities, including medical support exercises and a search dog rescue demonstration.

The Prince and Princess met one of the Central Beacons Mountain Rescue Team’s search dogs.

The parents of three had their hands full carrying pizza boxes from the Little Dragon Pizza Van. Peter Morris, who is the owner of the Little Dragon Pizza Van, told PEOPLE , “The Princess asked if we make our own dough — and said that they love making pizzas with their children.”

The couple personally delivered boxes of pizza to members of the mountain rescue team at the Dowlais Rugby Club.

Catherine looked country chic wearing her Barbour x Alexa Chung jacket.

The heir to the throne happily posed for a selfie with a young well-wisher outside of the Dowlais Rugby Club.

So did the Princess!

Prince William is patron of Mountain Rescue England and Wales.

At the Dowlais Rugby Club, the royals spent time with mountain rescue volunteers, the organization’s supporters and members of the community.

The Prince and Princess of Wales will celebrate their 12th wedding anniversary on April 29.
