The Prince and Princess of Wales are making the most of their three-day trip in Boston. Prince William and Kate Middleton touched down in the United States for the first time since 2014, and on Wednesday night, they surprised basketball fans at the Boston Celtics verse Miami Heat game. The Prince and Princess sat next to Emilia Fazzalari and her husband, Celtics owner Wyc Grousbeck. Ahead of the game, Boston Celtics star Jayson Tatum said hello.

They also sat next to Massachusetts Governor-Elect Maura Healey. According to Page Six insiders, they were eager to meet fans at the game as they took a break from their busy royal schedules.

Their trip will end Friday at The Earth shot Prize Awards Friday which was founded by Prince William and The Royal Foundation 2 years ago and is a global environmental prize awarded to 5 people. According to Page Six, there were nods to the prize including the Celtic’s tradition of recognizing a “Hero Among Us” during each game.
Miami Heat v Boston Celtics
The Princess looked very into the game. It ended with the Celtics beating the Heat, 133-119. So it looks like their royal presence came with a bit of luck.
