 Princess Leonor  of Spain is 17 years old!  King Felipe  and  Queen Letizia’s daughter celebrated her birthday on Monday, Oct. 31. The Princess of Asturias, who currently studies in Wales, reunited with her family in Spain ahead of her big day. In honor of the future Queen’s birthday, here are 12 interesting facts about Princess Leonor:

Leonor, King Felipe and Queen Letizia’s eldest child, was born in Madrid on October 31, 2005.

The Princess’ godparents are her paternal grandparents, Spain’s former King Juan Carlos and Queen Sofía. She was christened in 2006.

Leonor became a big sister in 2007 with the birth of Letizia and Felipe’s second child, Infanta Sofia.
