Who are the children of Queen Camilla? Find out if they will have a royal title

Camilla and the then Prince of Wales had a very close relationship in the seventies. The aristocrat and the heir to Queen Elizabeth II met at a polo match. Little by little, their friendship turned into something more; however, their relationship was interrupted when Charles left for the military. With Charles gone, Camilla decided to marry Parker Bowles on July 4, 1973, at the Royal Military Chapel in St. James.

Interestingly, eight years later, Camilla Parker Bowles attended the Prince of Wales and Princess Diana’s wedding on July 29, 1981, at St. Paul’s Cathedral.

Camilla gave birth to Tom Parker Bowles, 47, and Laura Parker Bowles, 44.

After 22 years of marriage, Camilla and Andrew ended her marriage in 1995, amid rumors of her on-and-off relationship with the then Prince of Wales. The couple divorced three years after “Lady Di” and Charles separated in 1992. Months later, Princess Anne divorced Mark Phillips, and Andrew of York separated from Sarah Ferguson. The Buckingham Palace also made headlines as part of its structure caught on fire.

On April 9, 2005, Charles and Camilla married at the Windsor Town Hall, and their guests of honor were their children; Princes William and Harry, as well as Tom Parker and Laura Lopes.

Tom Parker Bowles is a writer and food critic. He studied at Eton College and Worcester College. He was married to fashion editor Sara Buys from 2005 to 2018. They have two children.

In March 2021, Tom’s girlfriend Alice Procope passed away from cancer. At the time, the British media reported that Tom was devastated.

Laura Parker Bowles is the youngest daughter of Camilla and her ex-husband, Andrew Parker. She studied Art History and Marketing, and in October 2005, she founded the Eleven gallery in London, where she stands out as a curator. In May 2006, she married Harry Lopes, and she took her new last name. The couple has three children.

With the succession to the throne, many have wondered if the new king will give some kind of position or appointment to Tom and Laura; however, royalty experts say that will not be the case.

Majesty magazine editor Joe Little told Page Six that Camilla’s children would not receive any special treatment, unlike William, for example, who was made Prince of Wales. “Tom and Laura will remain as they are; their names will not change,” he said.

And what about their lives? Little indicated that they would remain largely the same and only change if necessary. Asked if they would get royal security or protection from Scotland Yard, he said: “If they haven’t needed security up to now, they won’t get it when the reign changes, unless it’s necessary, but of course, they won’t get security.”

“They’re both relatively low-key, considering their connections, and that’s how they like it,” added Little. “They value their privacy. Normally they would be very much in the background,” added the expert. Despite their life away from the spotlight, Tom and Laura have been invited to some events of the Royal Family, such as Queen Elizabeth’s Platinum Jubilee. Both were photographed at the Thanksgiving Mass for their 70-year reign last June.
