Kate Middleton attends garden party with Prince William

The Duchess recycled an elegant dress for the event at Buckingham Palace

The Duchess of Cambridge joined Prince William at the final Buckingham Palace garden party of the season. The royal looked lovely on Wednesday recycling a mint green dress, which she teamed with a matching fascinator. Kate wore the high collar frock back in 2019 to a reception marking the 50th anniversary of the Investiture of the Prince of Wales . Both the Duke and Duchess kept dry from the rain on May 25 holding umbrellas as they happily chatted with guests.

Also on hand for Wednesday’s party were Princess Beatrice , Prince Edward, the Countess of Wessex and the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester. While the garden party on May 25 was the last one to take place at Buckingham Palace this year, another garden party will be held at the Palace of Holyroodhouse in Scotland on June 29.

Buckingham Palace had previously announced that Queen Elizabeth would not be attending this year’s garden parties, and instead would be represented by members of the royal family. Scroll to see photos of Kate, William and more royals at the garden party...

Princess Beatrice, the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Prince Edward and the Countess of Wessex attended Buckingham Palace’s final garden party of the season on May 25. Per the palace, “ 8,000 guests were invited as a way to recognise for the positive impact they make in their communities.”

The Duchess reunited with Holocaust survivor Manfred Goldberg at the event. According to The Daily Mail ’s Rebecca English Kate told Manfred, “It’s so lovely to see you again. How are you? When I saw your name on the guest list I thought ‘Yes!’ I am so happy to see you! How have you been?”

Princess Beatrice stepped out wearing a checked dress and headband to the event.

Prince William and Kate exchanged sweet smiles at the party, which was the first one they attended together this season.

The Duchess of Cambridge stepped out for her first garden party of the season on May 18 sans the Duke.

Sophie, Countess of Wessex looked beautiful in a blue midi dress.

Despite the rain, Prince William was all smiles while meeting guests at the garden party in London.
