Royals photos of the week - March 7th

This week begins with Queen Elizabeth II meeting with Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau during an audience at Windsor Castle. This was the Queen’s first in-person engagement since recovering for Covid-19 at the end of February.

Prince William and Kate Middleton traveled to Abergavenny, Wales to honor St. David’s Day. They had a full day in which they visited the Abergavenny Market, a farm and a local youth center.

During the visit to Wales, Kate was photographed holding a daffodil bouquet, the national flower of Wales.

During their visit Wales, Prince William and Kate were also seen playing billiards at the Blaenavon Hwb, a community-focused youth centre that helps to support over 600 local young people

Sophie, The Countess of Wessex visited The Guide Dogs Hub in Reading, England. This is a facility to learn more about Guide Dogs services for children, young people and families, including buddy dogs.

Prince Charles hosted an event at the Clarence House called the Powerlist. The event celebrates the 100 of the UK’s most influential people of African, African-Caribbean and African-American heritage, acting as a role model for young people. Here he is posing with businessman Michael Eboda and composer Shirley Thompson among others.

Queen Letizia of Spain attended the Mutua Madileña’s auditorium where she awarded them grants for social projects. The Queen demonstrated her support for Ukraine through her fashion. She wore a vyshyvanka blouse which is a “Ukrainian national embroidered shirt.”

Pauline Ducruet, the niece of Prince Albert II of Monaco was photographed with her mom, Princess Stephanie of Monaco backstage after the Alter Womenswear Fall/Winter 2022-2023 show as part of Paris Fashion Week.
