The UK has welcomed a new Princess!  Queen Letizia  and  King Felipe  of Spain’s daughter  Princess Leonor  arrived at UWC Atlantic on Monday to begin her two-year program in Wales. Following the 15-year-old royal’s arrival in the UK, Casa de S.M. el Rey released photos of the future Queen of Spain at her new school, which looks fits for royalty! When she didn’t have her mask on, the Princess was all smiles strolling around the campus grounds.

Princess Leonor will be living in one of the school’s boarding houses on campus. The UWC Atlantic website states that accommodation for students centers “around dormitory-style bedrooms for four students, modern bathrooms complemented by bright, attractive study areas, day rooms and kitchens.”

Leonor, dressed in a striped T-shirt, jeans and green jacket, wore a mask as she walked around the campus. Looks like the Princess didn’t change out of her travel clothes from earlier in the day...perhaps she was too excited!

It was announced in February of 2021 that Queen Letizia’s firstborn would be studying “the International Baccalaureate program of the United World Colleges.”

Leonor isn’t the only Princess on campus. Queen Maxima and King Willem-Alexander of the Netherlands’ daughter, Princess Alexia, also left home to attend the school in Wales.

According to RTL Boulevard, Alexia knows the Spanish Princess, but not very well. The Dutch King has said, “I’m sure they will get along well.”
