Like most of us these days, Kate Middleton is adapting to a whole new way of life – and a whole new wardrobe – while she’s working from home. As she handles royal engagements from inside Kensington Palace or their Amner Hall home in Norfolk, England, we’ve seen the Duchess of Cambridge wear everything from stylish suits to colorful sweaters, always looking work appropriate but just casual enough to run after her three kids Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis before or after her Zoom calls. We haven’t been lucky enough to see her little ones barge in to interrupt a meeting – we’re looking at you, Chris Hemsworth! – but we have been taking notes as to what the royal has been wearing. So get ready for your next video conference call with these style pointers from Duchess Kate.

A geometric pattern sweater
Kate Middleton couldn’t have chosen a better look for her conference-call engagement! The Duchess of Cambridge wore this beautiful baby blue knit by Tabitha Webb to suprise to the happy new parents of a baby boy who welcomed their son at Kingston Hospital, where she completed a two-day work placement.
A striped knit
For a broadcast interview alongside husband Prince William on BBC Breakfast in April 2020, Duchess Kate wore a wardrobe classic: a striped knit sweater. The pair were speaking from Amner Hall, where they opted to stay during the coronavirus quarantine.
On-trend marigold
For another Duchess of Cambridge Zoom conference call, Kate chose a major pop of color that made her stand out on screen with this crew neck long-sleeved knit in a rich marigold hue.
A pink pantsuit
“Hello, yes, this is the Queen of Style.” We loved this tailored look that Kate wore for a call while working from home.
Green knit top
When you’re working inside, you definitely want some fun colors to help boost your mood and maybe even the moods of everyone else who dials in! Supporting the Every Mind Matters campaign, Duchess Kate donned a bright green knit top to chair a mental health roundtable call.
Tweed and lace
Remember when Kate guest edited the Huffington Post website from home? We do! The royal wore a sweet white lace blouse, a tweed miniskirt and black tights for the occasion. The Duchess was lending a journalistic hand from Kensington Palace to support the launch of Huffington Post UK’s Young Minds Matter initiative.
The ultimate floral print dress
Kate was a vision in the Aurora midi dress by Boden, featuring a delicate floral print that is, with no doubt, one of this season’s hottest trends. The mom-of-three chose it to take part in a call with new parents, midwifes and experts ahead of the UK Maternal Mental Health Awareness Week that is taking place from May 4.
