The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge marked the holiday on Sunday, March 22 by treating us all to a carousel of delightful family photos on social media. "To mothers new and old and families spending today together and apart – we are thinking of you all at this difficult time," the royal couple wrote on their official account. "Happy Mother’s Day." Photo number one takes fans to Norfolk, where Prince William and Kate took their 2018 family Christmas card. Royal photographer Matt Porteous gloriously captured a family piggy back race, showing Charlotte riding on Kate's back and Prince George on William's. Oh, what fun!

“A card from Prince George to his mother this Mother’s Day,” the last photo caption read. The beautiful card showcased the six-year-old's creative side. It's thought that George made the card at his school, Thomas's Battersea, before it was shut amid the coronavirus outbreak.
