United front

Archie’s mom and dad were in high spirits as they arrived at Royal Albert Hall. The pair put on a united front by holding hands as they waltzed into the distinguished venue wearing matching ensembles.

Duke and Duchess of Style

Meghan turned heads in head to toe red. She opted for a stunning SAfiYAA gown, boasting her beloved cape feature and a leg slit which flaunted her chic shoes - by Aquazurra, of course. A satin red clutch by Manolo took her ensemble to new heights, glittering under the flashing camera lights. As did her glamourous bejewelled Simone Rocha earrings.

Harry gave us The Greatest Showman vibes in his formal military ensemble. He lovingly attended to his wife as they made their way inside.

Greetings

Official duties began from the moment they reached the entrance. Both smiled from ear to ear as they shook hands with guests and military personnel outside the Royal Albert Hall. The modish mom-of-one seemed to have a woman in stitches.

Look of love

All eyes were on them and their eyes were on each other! The pair swapped several adoring looks throughout the evening, which was considered Harry’s swansong as Captain General of the Royal Marines.

A segment of the Prince’s foreword read: "The Mountbatten Festival of Music continues to be a very special event that brings together the world-class musicians, composers and conductors ofthe Massed Bands of Her Majesty’s Royal Marines in an iconic venue. This year, it will mark the 75th anniversary of the end ofthe Second World War and the 80th anniversary of the fornrntion of Britain’s Commandos. I can guarantee you are in for a real treat! This Festival is also an opportunity to lift morale and inspire people of all ages, as well as raise much needed awareness and funds for The Royal Marines Charity. This organization does such a fantastic job of supporting our Corps Family and it is a cause which will always be very close to my heart. I have been lucky to see first-hand the incredible impact the Charity has on serving and veteran Marines, as well as their families. Whether providing welfare grants, contributions towards social activities or helping wounded personnel recover and find new employment opportunities, the Charity is there every step of the way."

Standing O

Harry and Meghan barely unlocked their cute hand hold throughout the music-filled evening, even while being seated. They were treated to a standing ovation and lengthy applause as they took their seats in the royal box.

It was likely an ambivilant evening for Harry, who served in the military for 10 years and has pledged his "unwavering support" to the Armed Forces despite stepping down from royal duties later this month.

Strike up the band!

Their light-hearted attitude continued after the show, as they met with musicians backstage. The hilarious royal couple - who seem to have a weight lifted off their shoulders since their big announcement - appeared to crack jokes with the band members.
