Hispanic Heritage Month is a great time to celebrate the rich cultural contributions of the Hispanic community, and it’s also an important moment to recognize the significant economic impact of Hispanic-owned businesses across the country. According to the Office of Advocacy of the U.S. Small Business Administration, Hispanic entrepreneurs are the majority owners of over 5 million businesses nationwide, employing nearly 3 million workers. In 2022, Hispanic business owners made up 14.5% of all U.S. business owners, marking a 13% increase from the previous year.
These Latino and Latina owned businesses are the lifeblood of the U.S. economy, fueling growth, creating jobs, and bringing innovation to the table. But their recognition shouldn’t just be a once-a-year thing during Hispanic Heritage Month—it’s something we need to carry forward all year long. These entrepreneurs pour their heart, soul, and hustle into their work, building their businesses with pride and passion. When you shop with them, you’re not just making a purchase—you’re helping their dreams thrive and supporting the communities they uplift every day. Let’s keep the momentum going and show up for them year-round, ensuring their continued success and celebrating the rich diversity they bring to our economy.
Below is a list of Hispanic-owned businesses to get you inspired and where you can shop and show your love beyond this month’s celebrations.
