We all know that Latinas and Latinos prioritize their family, and when it comes to their little ones, highlighting their achievements is a must. The home plays a significant role in cultivating the family; it is where love grows, memories are created, and a total reflection of our style; therefore, we often refer to it as Home Sweet Home.

During the quarantine, many families had to reinvent and reimagine their living spaces. Since kids are spending more time at home, Target Home Style Expert Emily Henderson wants to spark inspiration to our readers by using some of the latest Pillowfort products to renovate the kids’ space this spring.

Using high-quality, modern, and affordable pieces that can be mixed-and-matched and grow with children as they age, the expert put together a few projects that will make any kid feel in a more comfortable, creative, and in a safer space.

“If you have a lonely corner in your kid‘s room, and are in need of a cute reading chair that will bring everyone joy, this is it,” Emily Henderson suggests.

For this project, the expert used Target’s Pillowfort Oversize Rattan Egg Chair Natural.

“I like canopies more than tents because tents take up so much real estate when not in use,” she revealed. “With a canopy you can just gather the fabric together and tie it in a knot to save space.”

This Pom Canopy from Pillowfort comes in two colors and it is perfect to bring a whimsical touch to your little one’s bed, reading nook or playroom.

Little readers can have a designated place for their books with Osa Kid’s Bookcase. “The bookshelf has a lot of versatility; it can hold cubbies when kids are little and books or games as they get older,” Henderson said. No matter what this kids bookcase holds, its neutral color and clean design will look great in your kiddo’s room.

Bring fun galactic themes to their bedroom with this Space Cotton Comforter Set from Pillowfort. This complete bedding set includes a cozy comforter and matching sham(s) for a coordinated flair.

“Please note the hand-drawn planets on the quilt, and we know that navy mixed with mustard is one of my favorite color combos,” the expert added. Each of the pieces features a colorful print of different planets, satellites and space shuttles over a blue backdrop for a fun space-inspired look.
