Priscilla Valles is a celebrity hair extensions specialist and owner of her namesake salon inside The Spa at the Palms in Las Vegas. The L.A.-based stylist has an impressive list of clients, including Christina Aguilera, Dua Lipa, Kylie Jenner, and Hailey Bieber.
Valles has been in the hair industry for 20 years, but she knew what she wanted in life since she was a girl. During an interview with People, she shared that she grabbed a pair of sewing scissors and cut her cousin's hair. "I remember like it was yesterday, she asked me, 'What were you thinking?' And in my mind, I just wanted to make them over. But I think I just always knew. Everyone did. I ended up getting my cosmetology license before I got my high school diploma," she told the publication.
According to Valles, she was obsessed with transformations. "When I started assisting [extensions expert] Sheila Stotts, I saw a makeover with extensions, and once I saw that, I said, 'that's what I'm doing.'"
Not after she secured her first celebrity client. Another Latina!
"Christina Aguilera was definitely one of the first celebrity clients. We were both 22 years old, I'd say. We're best friends now, and I'm the godmother of her child."
With her clientele, Priscilla knows when is a stage look or dad to day style. "I always go based off their vibe. But for my performers, like Britney or Christina, I'll do more individual extensions because there's a lot of flowing and moving and you want the hair to flow natural. But with someone like Kylie [Jenner], I'll use tape-ins, because it's just about capturing that photo."
Priscilla's future is bright, but she still needs to accomplish one thing:
"My own extensions line. To have a salon with my extension line, I would die a happy person. I don't need a husband and kids. That'll be it for me."
Despite her statement, she found the love of her life in entrepreneur Miguel Aguilar, whom she met because of her love of cars. "Priscilla grew up in a family of car lovers," Brides informed. "Her dad built low riders and collected classic cars. Miguel, being a classic car collector himself, met her father, Richie, at a car show in Vegas. Richie introduced Priscilla and Miguel in March 2021, and the rest is history."
