Paz Levinson was born in Argentina, a country recognized for its incredible wines and vineyards. Despite the fact that she grew up in the region, spending her youth in Bariloche, Levinson’s passion for wine developed later on in her life.

Paz Levinson has amassed great success in her industry.

It didn’t take long for Levinson to explore and exploit her natural born talent, which paired with her studies at the Argentinean Center of Wines and Spirits (CAVE) resulted in her winning the title of Best Sommelier, first in her country (in the years 2010 and 2014), and later on in her continent (2015). The rest is history, with Levinson earning a place among the top four in the highly competitve contest of Best Sommelier in the World (2016), where only four out of sixty participants were women.

She’s one of the most recognized female sommeliers.
Paz Levinson is the only female sommelier that works with Michelin star restaurants.

Levinson is a pioneer of women in the culinary industry, particularly in the business of sommeliers, which has long been ruled by men. She’s managed to discard that prejudice thanks to her passion, hard work, and her skill, granting her the position of Executive Sommelier of Groupe PIC, helmed by the Chef Anne-Sophie Pic. This achievement made Levinson the first female sommelier to work in a restaurant with three Michelin stars.

The United States, England, Sweden, Porgutal, China, France, and Argentina are some of the countries that have reaped the benefits of Levinson’s palate and that have formed her as one of the best culinary figures in the world.
