Daniela, Paula and Alejandra Villarreal were born in Monterrey, Mexico and are united by their love of music. The three are in a band called The Warning, with each one of them taking on various intruments and providing vocals.
The three hailed from a musical family, learning about music and instruments from a young age. They claim that Rock Band, the video game where different people take on video game instruments and perform some top hits, was a pivotal part of their learning. You can tell by their excited dynamic, showing just how much they love music and rocking out. The three achieved notoriety when they shared a YouTube video with their performance of Metallica’s “Enter Sandman.” The clip shows them as tweens, dressed up in pink and Holister t-shirts, but rocking out to one of the ‘90s biggest rock anthems. It’s a clashing sight, yet one that works.
Aside from the fact that they’re a band made out of sisters, another striking aspect about The Warning is that they’re a hard rock band, with their original songs including edgy riffs, heart pumping drum segments, and lenghty guitar solos.
Following their internet discovery, The Warning released two records as independent artists, titled “XXI Century Blood” and “Queen of the Murder Scene.”
Nowadays, the band has a five-record deal with Lava Records. Over the course of their musical career, The Warning have gotten to participate in incredible projects, including a cover of “Enter Sandman” that was featured in a Metallica tribute album with the vocals of Alessia Cara. They’ve been on tour with bands like Muse and Three Days Grace, and have released their third record called “Error.”
