When music runs through your veins, success is just a matter of time, of course, with hard work and dedication. GALE is a clear example of this. This Puerto Rican singer and songwriter worked diligently from a young age to become a star, and today, she is reaping the rewards. Just a few months ago, she celebrated her first Top 10 on a Billboard chart, as her song “Nuestra Canción” (Our Song) landed on the Latin Pop Airplay chart.

GALE lleva la música en la sangre

Carolina Isabel Colón Juarbe, GALE’s real name, always knew she wanted to pursue a music career. Growing up in a family of musicians gave her the invaluable support she needed to succeed.

She began her music journey at a young age in her native Puerto Rico, delving into the world of musical theater.

After graduating from college, she solidified her skills and earned a songwriting certification from the prestigious Berklee College of Music. With a strong foundation, the singer-songwriter relocated to Miami to pursue opportunities. While being separated from her loved ones was difficult, the sacrifices ultimately paid off.

Initially, she carved her niche in the industry as a songwriter, showcasing her talent by co-writing songs for renowned artists such as Christina Aguilera, Anitta, Shakira, Juanes, Myke Towers, Ozuna, and Pharrell Williams.

La puertorriqueña estrenó hace poco su álbum debut

Her dream of becoming a singer has become a reality, and today, at 30, she has two albums to her credit. In 2017, she independently released “Espirales Sin Sentido” under her own label, Blue Madness Records, and in May this year, she released “Lo Que No Te dije,” marking her official debut album.

Among her emotionally charged and deeply personal material, “Nuestra Canción” stands out. Released in February, this song propelled her to become the eleventh Latina woman to attain a solo Top 10 spot on the Billboard charts without the collaboration of another artist.
