Award winning executive producer, Mary Black-Suarez has had a 29 year career in entertainment. As President and Founder at MBS Entertainment and Vice President and CEO at “Somos Productions,” we’ve all witnessed the shows that she has produced on major networks including Univision, Nickelodeon Latin America and Telemundo.
Black-Suarez was an Executive Producer at NBC Telemundo, where she produced the Latin American Music Awards. She’s been on the Latin Recording Academy board of trustees for the past 7 years. Of those 7 years, for the past 4 years she has been on the Executive Committee of the Latin Recording Academy, solidifying her influence and dedication to the Latin entertainment industry.
She has produced shows including “Premios Lo Nuestro”, “Nuestra Belleza Latina”, “¿Qué dice la gente?” and “Calle Ocho,” to name a few. Black-Suarez has been nominated for a Latin Grammy award for Best Long Form Music Video. She has won several awards for shows that she has produced.
