She has won the heart of all New Yorkers, but also the world of tennis. Why? She is an inspiration and an example of talent, humility, carisma and class.

Fernandez is 19 years old and winning is not new, but never at a professional level. She was world number one and junior Roland Garros champion in 2019. Fernandez wanted to played soccer like her dad; destiny had other plans for this tennis sensation.

Leylah is fluent in French, Spanish and English and has the flags of Canada, Ecuador and the Philippines on his Instagram account.
