This Argentine triple-threat is reaching the top of the charts

Born Martina Alejandra Stoessel Muzlera, but known professionally by the stage name Tini, this Argentine actress, singer, songwriter, dancer, and model began her career in 2007 in the children‘s television series Patito Feo. In 2012, the 24-year-old star rose to prominence after securing the lead role as Violetta Castillo in the Disney Channel Latin America original telenovela, Violetta.

The show served as a platform for Stoessel to record eight soundtrack albums, including “Cantar es lo que soy,” “La Música es Mi Mundo,” “Hoy Somos más,” “Crecimos juntos,” and more. The albums of the show debuted at No. 1 in Argentina and different European countries. As Violetta, Stoessel, along with other cast members, performed in more than 400 concerts around the world, selling over 1.2 million tickets.

Juggling between her singing and acting career, the Latina Powerhouse starred in the Violetta sequel, Tini: The Movie. After achieving worldwide success, she signed a deal with Hollywood Records and officially adopted her stage name “TINI.”

In 2016 she released her debut solo studio album, with songs in Spanish and English. The album sold over 100,000 copies worldwide in less than two months. It reached No. 1 in Argentina and the top 10 in Italy, Germany, Austria, Poland, and several other countries in Europe.

Two years later, she released her second studio album, Quiero Volver, who also debuted at No. 1 in her country. In 2020 came her third studio album, which received a double diamond certification by CAPIF, after selling more than 500,000 digital copies in Argentina.

Today, Tini is working on her fourth studio album. In 2021, Stoessel released a collab with María Becerra titled “Miénteme,” who is expected to be the lead single for her upcoming project. Stoessel also collaborated with Lola Índigo and Belinda in “La Niña de la Escuela” and released “Maldita Foto” with Colombian singer Manuel Turizo. Tini will be back to acting to star in a Chinese period drama film, The Diary, directed by Jackie Chan.
