Natalia Reyes is one of the most notorious Colombians in Hollywood. The actress, born in Bogota, Colombia, has had an expansive and respected film career, known for her involvement in international and U.S.-based projects. Reyes’ career started off with supporting roles in the Nickelodeon series “Isa TKM,” which was shot and produced in Venezuela. She starred in shows like “Muńoz vale X2,” and “Bermudez,” but her big break came when she was cast in “Cumbia Ninja,” in 2013. The Colombian series was broadcast on the FOX Channel, and it was a mix of drama, science fiction, and mystery, earning favorable reviews from viewers and critics. Natalia was then cast as the lead in “Lady, La Vendedora de Rosas,” a crime show that showcased Reyes’ acting talents and capacity for drama roles.

Natalia later started earning film roles, most importantly in the film “Birds of Passage,” released in 2018. The Colombian film, directed by Ciro Guerra and Cristina Gallego, was selected to open the Director’s Fortnight at the Cannes Film Festival and made the Academy Awards shortlist for Best Foreign Language Film.

In 2019, she joined one of the biggest and most successful franchises in Hollywood history, playing a key role in “Terminator: Dark Fate.” Natalia played the role of Dani Ramos and starred alongside Arnold Schwarzenegger, Mackenzie Davis, Gabriel Luna and Linda Hamilton. The film had a huge blockbuster budget, was directed by Tim Miller, and produced by James Cameron, the director of the original trilogy.

In the coming years, Natalia is set to star in the film “Tomorrow Before After,” a post-apocalyptic film directed by Alfonso Quijada. While Natalia has chosen to focus on film over the past couple of years, the actress continues to balance Hollywood projects with international ones, showing how much she treasures stories because of their content and identity, not only their budget and reach.

Natalia is married to Juan Pedro San Segundo, whom she met in 2009 and married in 2016. The couple is expecting their first child together.
