The Venezuelan (Santa Teresa 1796)
Ingredients:
1.5 oz Santa Teresa 1796
75 oz Lime juice
1 oz demerara syrup
1 dropper of vanilla extract (about 20 drops)
3 dashes Angostura bitters
1.5 oz sparkling wine
Preparation:
Shake all ingredients with ice, except for the sparkling wine.
Double strain into a glass and finally top with sparkling wine.
Serve in a coupe or cocktail glass and garnish with an orange peel.
Penicilina (Fósforo Mezcal)
Ingredients:
2oz Fósforo Tobalá Mezcal
0.75oz Honey Simple
0.75oz Fresh Lemon
Fresh Ginger (two slices, 1⁄2 inch)
0.25oz Fósforo Tobalá Penca
Preparation:
Muddle fresh ginger with honey simple.
Add other ingredients (hold the Penca) and shake with ice.
Pour over ice into a rocks glass, float Fósforo Tobalá Penca.
Garnish with candied ginger
Real House Margarita (Astral Tequila Blanco)
Ingredients:
1.5 oz Astral Tequila Blanco
0.5 oz Lime Juice
0.5 oz Agave Nectar
Club Soda
Preparation:
Add Astral Tequila Blanco, fresh lime juice and agave nectar to a shaker filled with ice.
Shake and strain into an ice-filled rocks glass.
Top with club soda and garnish with a lime wheel or twist.
Garnish: Lime Wheel or Twist
Serve in a Rocks Glass
The Baja El Sol (Las Californias Gin)
Ingredients:
2 oz Las Californias Gin
Cítrico 3/4 oz
Honey Syrup
3/4 oz Lemon Juice
2 strawberries
Peychaud Bitters (optional)
Mint Leaves (garnish)
Preparation:
Slice strawberries and add them to an empty cocktail shaker and muddle
Fill the shaker with ice and add remaining ingredients
Shake vigorously until well combined
Fill a High Ball glass with ice
Double strain and pour into glass
Garnish with mint
C22 shot (CAZADORES Café)
Ingredients:
½ oz. Benedictine
½ oz. CAZADORES Café
½ oz. Rompope* or Bacardi coquito
Note: Rompope is a Mexican drink similar to eggnog that dates back to the 17th century.
Preparation:
Refrigerate ingredients then LAYER in a chilled glass by carefully pouring in the order above.
El Mercadito (Buchanan)
Ingredients:
1.5 oz Buchanan’s 12-Year-Old DeLuxe
1.0 oz Tangerine Juice
0.5 oz Agave Syrup (amber)
1 Pinch of Chile de Arbol
1 Pinch of Sea Salt
Tangerine peel
Preparation:
Add all ingredients into a shaker with ice.
Shake vigorously until cold.
Strain into a coupe glass (no ice).
Squeeze oil of small tangerine peel and place on rim of coupe as garnish.
For sharing, multiply all ingredients by 12 and add to blender.
Blend on low speed to share with friends and family. *Makes 12 servings
Death to El Gusano (Dos Hombres Mezcal)
Ingredients:
1.5oz Dos Hombres Mezcal
1oz Jalapeño/Rosemary Simple Syrup
2 Dashes Teapot Bitters
3/4oz Lime Juice
Preparation:
To make the simple syrup, add 1/2 cup sugar, 1/2 cup water, two Jalapeños split or quartered, and a 4-inch sprig of fresh Rosemary.
Bring to a boil (be careful boiling), set aside for approximately 24 hours.
Strain once there is a bit of heat from jalapeño.
Add all ingredients to your shaker and vigorously shake.
Serve in a rocks glass. Enjoy!
Delola (JLo’s Spritz Brand)
Delola is a refreshing drink that doesn’t require a specific recipe; all you need to do to savour it, is simply open the bottle and pour it over a glass with ice.
You can garnish the drink with orange or grapefruit slices to give it that extra spark!
La Paloma (Old Parr)
Ingredients:
2 oz. Old Parr Aged 12 Years
0.5 oz. Fresh Lemon Juice 0
.75 oz. Fresh Grapefruit Juice
0.75 oz. Spicy Honey Syrup
Preparation:
Combine Old Parr Aged 12 Years, fresh lemon juice, fresh grapefruit juice, and spicy honey syrup
Shake with ice, strain into rocks glass Garnish with sage bouquet
Serve in an Old-Fashioned glass and drink up!
Cantarito Familiar (Tequila CAZADORES Reposado)
