There’s no better way to celebrate than with a refreshing cocktail in hand

As Latinos, we love to celebrate. Whether big or small, the need for celebration is something that is deeply engrained in our DNA. From cocktails to mocktails, there is will always be the perfectly cool and refreshing drink that will soothe your soul, allowing you to reach your desired happy place. Although a US holiday, Cinco de Mayo reminds us of our need to always ‘go big or go home.’ Celebrating this holiday requires the best food (like creamy guacamole) and drinks that we can possibly find — and the following cocktails (and mocktail) recipe will not disappoint!

Sunrise in Oaxaca

Ingredients:

- 2oz. Dos Hombres Espadín Mezcal

- 2 tbsp. Grenadine 4oz.

- Fresh Orange Juice

Preparations:

1. Add Dos Hombres and orange juice with ice into a blender.

2. Blend until smooth.

3. Pour into Collins glass.

4. Slowly pour in grenadine.

5. Garnish with an orange slice and a maraschino cherry.

6.Enjoy the sunrise!

- 1 ½ oz Don Julio Blanco

- 2 oz. Hibiscus Tea

- ½ oz. Lime Juice

- ¼ oz. Simple Syrup

- Strawberry Halves as Garnish

Preparations:

1 - Combine Tequila Don Julio Blanco, hibiscus tea, lime juice and simple syrup into a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake gently.

2 - Strain contents into a Collins glass over fresh ice and garnish with strawberry halves.

- Watermelon wedges for garnish

Preparations:

1 - Add lime to rim of serving glass and salt.

2 - Combine Cupcake Vineyards Rosé, tequila, agave, lime juice, and watermelon juice with ice in shaker.

3 - Shake and strain over ice. Top with grapefruit soda and garnish withwatermelon.

1 - Stir all ingredients with plenty of ice until very cold.

2 - Strain into a coupe glass. Garnish with orange peel.

Ingredients:

- 0.75 parts Grand Marnier® Cordon Rouge

- 1.5 parts Espolon® Reposado Tequila

- 1 part fresh lime juice

- 0.25 part agave nectar

Garnish: Lime wheel; salt optional

Preparations:

1- Rim the rocks glass with fine salt (optional).

2 - Combine ingredients in a shaker tin, add ice and shake.

3 - Strain into rocks glass and fresh ice and garnish with lime wedge for an elevated and Grand twist on the traditional margarita.

Ingredients:

- 1.5 oz Buchanan’s DeLuxe

- .75 oz red ruby Grapefruit juice

- .5 oz lime juice

- .5 oz agave nectar

- 2-3 oz club soda

Garnish: Salt rim (salt, smoked paprika, chili)

Preparations:

1 - Mix all ingredients exceptclub soda in a shaker over ice

2 - Pour over ice in a tall glass, top with 2-3 oz club soda.

3 - Rim glass with lemon, then rim glass with salt mixture

Spicy BABE

Ingredients:

- 1.5 oz blanco tequila

- 1 250ml can of BABE Rosé with bubbles

- 1.5 oz lime juice

- 1 oz simple syrup

- 1 small watermelon

- 1 Jalapeño Pepper

- Fresh mint, to garnish (optional)

- Roses, to garnish (optional)

Preparations:

1. Combine tequila, lime juice, and simple syrup in a shaker.

2. Cut two 1-inch cubes of watermelon and one circular slice of jalapeño pepper and add to the shaker. (If you want it less spicy, omit the seeds of the pepper).

3. Muddle until thoroughly blended.

4. Add ice and shake vigorously for at least 30 seconds.

5. Double strain into a wine glass over a large ice cube.

6. Fill the glass to the top with BABE Rosé with bubbles and garnish with mint, rose and jalapeño.

1 - Combine everything in a shaker with ice and shake until frosty. Using your method of choice, make your “snow” in a cone or rocks glass, and pour the mix over.

Ingredients:

- 2 oz Doña Vega Espadín Mezcal

- 1 oz Sweet Vermouth (we like this with Dolin)

- 3 dashes Angostura Bitters

Preparations:

1 - Mix all ingredients in a shaker and add ice.

2 - Stir for 15 rotations and strain into desired glass. Can be served ‘up’ or on ’the rocks’.

Garnish: Charred orange peel, maraschino cherry, or a brandy cherry

Ingredients:

- 2.5 ounces Cupcake Sauvignon Blanc

- 1 ounce tequila

- Splash of ginger beer

- Splash Agave Lime juice as needed

Preparations:

1 - Add lime to rim of serving glass and salt. Fill serving glass with ice and combine ingredients.

2 - Garnish with alime wheel and enjoy!

Ingredients:

- 2 oz Mr Black Cold Brew Coffee Liqueur

- 0.75 oz Mezcal

- 1.25 oz Pink Grapefruit juice

Preparations:

1 - Stir in a highball glass with ice, top with tonic water.

2 - Garnish with a half pink salt rim and a pink grapefruit slice

The Manzarita

Ingredients:

- 2 parts Tequila Blanco

- ¾ part St-Germain French Elderflower Liqueur

- 1 ½ parts pressed apple juice

- Dash of ground cinnamon

- 3-4 wedges fresh lemon

- Apple slices

Preparations:

1 - Muddle lemon wedges and cinnamon in a mixing glass. Add remaining ingredients and shake with ice.

2 - Strain into an ice-filled rocks glass and garnish with an apple slice or a cinnamon stick.

Spicy Paloma

Ingredients:

- 1 ½ parts Hornitos® Black Barrel® Tequila

- ¾ part fresh ruby red grapefruit juice

- ¾ part fresh lime juice

- ½ part agave syrup Jalapeño Grapefruit

Preparations:

1 - Lightly muddle ¼ grapefruit and 4 slices jalapeño in a shaker. Combine remainder of ingredients into the shaker over ice and shake vigorously.

2 - Strain into a rocks glass over fresh ice. Garnish with a grapefruit slice.

1 - Combine all ingredients except in a shaker. Shake with ice, strain, and top with Chandon. Garnish with lemon wedge.

- 1 dash Orange Bitters

Preparations:

1 - Shake all ingredients with ice and pour into an ice-filled rocks glass.

2 - Garnish with an orange twist and serve with a side of Prosecco.

Ingredients:

- 2 oz 1800 Silver

- 1.25 oz Lemon Juice

- 1 oz Passion Fruit Juice

- .5 oz Simple Syrup

- Pinch of Nutmeg

Preparations:

1 - Pinch of Nutmeg in mixing tin, combine all ingredients.

2 - Ice, shake hard for 10 seconds.

3 - Rim Collins glass with sugar salt, add ice to glass.

4 - Pour into glass and garnish with long lemon peel

Ingredients:

1 part Tequila - Silver

½ part Mezcal

1 part St-Germain French Elderflower Liqueur

½ part Lime Juice

Chili Powder (rim)

Preparations:

1 - Shake all ingredients with ice and pour into an ice-filled rocks glass (chili salt rim optional).

2 - Garnish with lime wedge.

Ingredients:

- 2 parts Jose Cuervo Especial Silver

- 1 part lime juice

- 1 part triple sec

- Agave syrup to taste

- Ice Lime for garnish

- Salt for rim

Preparations:

1 - In a cocktail shaker, add ice, Jose Cuervo Especial® Silver tequila, triple sec and fresh lime juice and agave syrup to taste. Shake well!

2 - Run lime wedge around the rim of glass then dip the glass into salt. Add ice to the glass and strain in contents of the shaker. Garnish with a lime wedge.

Ingredients:

- 1.5 oz PATRÓN Silver

- 2 oz Coconut water

- .5 oz Fresh lime juice

- .5 oz Simple syrup

- 7 Thin slices of cucumber, 3 for garnish

Preparations:

1 - Combine all ingredients (including 4 of the cucumber slices) in a cocktail shaker and shake vigorously with ice to chill.

2 - Strain onto fresh ice in a highball glass. Garnish with remaining 3 cucumbers.

1 - Combine ingredients in the cocktail shaker and shake with ice to chill. Strain into a salt-rimmed martini or rocks glass.

1 - Garnish with a slice of watermelon

2 - In a mixing tin, add watermelon, muddle to puree.

3 - Add remaining ingredients; add ice, shake hard for 10 seconds

4 - Double strain into Martini glass Garnish with watermelon brine.

Ingredients:

- Grenadine

- Sugar

- Ice

- Cup of orange juice

- 1.2 oz Shot of tequila

- 1.2 oz Shot of coconut rum

- Splash of grenadine

- Squeeze of lime

- Squeeze of lemon

- Splash of lemon lime soda

Preparations:

1 - Pour grenadine on a flat plate lightly covering the surface

2 - Pour sugar on a flat plate lightly covering the surface

3 - Rim your glass by dipping into the grenadine, then the sugar

4 - Fill half of the glass with ice

5 - Add orange juice and a shot of tequila, followed by a shot of coconut rum and a splash of grenadine

6 - Squeeze of lemon, squeeze of lime

7 - Pour liquid into a cocktail shaker and shake

8 - Pour into your glass

9 - Fill the remainder with lemon limesoda or sparkling water

10 - Garnish with a slice of lemon or lime
