You don’t have to go trick or treating to enjoy a treat this Halloween. If you’re 21 or older, you can get into the spirit of the spooky season with a scary good cocktail at home. From a “Pumpkin Pie Margarita” to “Witches Brew,” we’ve rounded up a variety of festive drinks that are a recipe for a spooktacular time!

The Goblin

Ingredients:

  • 1 ½ oz BACARDÍ Superior
  • 1 oz Lime Juice
  • ½ oz Midori
  • ½ oz Reàl-Coco
  • ½ oz Pineapple Juice
  • Pineapple Wedge as Garnish

Method:

  1. Shake all of the ingredients together with ice.
  2. Strain into a chilled coupe or martini glass.
  3. Garnish with a fresh pineapple wedge.

Noir Negroni

Ingredients:

  • 1 ½ oz GREY GOOSE L’Orange
  • 1 oz Martini Ambrato
  • 1 oz Black Rice infused Martini Bitter
  • Halloween Candy

Method:

  1. Build in Rocks Glass.
  2. Add a big cube.
  3. Stir and garnish with fun Halloween candy

Witches Brew

Ingredients:

  • 1.5 oz Casamigos Blanco Tequila
  • 1.5 oz Melon Liqueur by Midori
  • 1 oz Fresh Pineapple Juice
  • .5 oz. Fresh Lemon Juice
  • ½ Thick Rim Black Lava Salt/Sugar Rim 2:1 Ratio
  • Garnish: 1-2 Black Faux Spiders

Method:

  1. Wet ½ rim of coupe glass with lemon wedge or wheel and dip into salt mixture.
  2. Combine all ingredients into a tin shaker.
  3. Add ice, shake vigorously and strain into rimmed coupe glass.
  4. Add fresh ice and garnish.

Ingredients:

  • 2 parts Tullamore DEW Original
  • .5 part Lemon Juice
  • Juice of 1 Fresh-Pressed Green Apple (or 6 parts Cloudy Apple Juice)
  • Garnish: Apple Slice & Strawberry Preserves

Method:

  1. Add ingredients to an ice-filled shaker.
  2. Shake and strain into a chilled coupe glass.
  3. For garnish, slice an apple and carve a scary face.
  4. Use strawberry preserves for the ‘blood’ effect.

Pumpkin Pie Margarita

Ingredients:

  • 2 oz Codigo 1530 Repo
  • 1 oz Pumpkin Purée
  • 1 oz Maple Syrup
  • .5 oz Lemon Juice
  • Garnish: Cinnamon Stick and Dried Orange

Method:

  1. Wet rim in maple syrup and dip in cinnamon sugar.
  2. Shaken and strained over ice.
  3. Garnish with a cinnamon stick and a dried orange.

Pink House Alchemy’s Winter’s Bane

Ingredients:

  • 2 oz Plymouth Gin⁠ ·
  • .5 oz pH Ginger Syrup⁠
  • .5 oz Pierre Ferrand Dry Curaçao⁠
  • 1 Egg White⁠
  • .25 oz Fresh Lemon Juice⁠
  • Splash of Lemon La Croix ⁠
  • 1/2 Capsule of Activated charcoal
  • Dehydrated Blood Orange Slice

Method:

  1. Stir together gin, lemon, syrup, and empty the contents of a charcoal capsule.
  2. Strain onto fresh ice. ⁠
  3. Dry shake egg white and Curaçao - layer over the cocktail. ⁠
  4. Add a bit of Lemon La Croix Bubbles to raise the drink. ⁠
  5. Garnish with a dehydrated blood orange slice.

Jose Cuervo Pumpkin Spice Daisy Recipe

Ingredients:

For Cocktail

  • 2 oz Jose Cuervo Tradicional® Añejo
  • .75 oz Lemon Juice
  • .25 oz Orange Juice OR Squeeze of an Orange Slice
  • .5 oz Honey Syrup

For the Pumpkin Spice Rim:

  • 1 tbsp Pumpkin Spice
  • 1 tsp Sugar
  • 1 tsp Salt

Method:

  1. Combine and shake.
  2. Strain over a pre-rimmed lowball glass with ice.

Apothic Sour Pour Over

Ingredients:

  • 1 Bottle - Apothic Red
  • 2 oz Bourbon
  • 1 oz Lemon Juice
  • 1 oz Simple Syrup
  • Lemon Peel or Amarena Dark Cherries (Optional Garnishes)

Method:

  1. Combine 2 oz bourbon, 1 oz lemon juice and 1 oz simple syrup into cocktail shaker filled with ice.
  2. Shake until cold and strain into glass over rocks.
  3. Float ½ oz Apothic Red over back of bar spoon onto the sour’s surface.
  4. Garnish with lemon peel and an Amarena dark cherry to really take it over the top.

The Ghostface

Ingredients:

  • 2 oz Santa Teresa 1796 Rum
  • ¾ oz Aquavit
  • ¾ oz White Wine
  • 2 dashes Chocolate and Cinnamon Bitters

Method:

  1. Stir to combine.
  2. Pour into a cocktail glass.
  3. Garnish with an orange twist.

Dano\'s Tequila\'s Dark Passenger

Ingredients:

  • 2 oz Dano’s Blanco Tequila
  • 1 oz Lemon Juice
  • 8 Medium Blackberries
  • 5 Leaves Fresh Sage
  • 1 tbsp Maple Syrup
  • 1 dash Orange Bitters
  • Garnish: Dried Sage Leaves, Blackberries, Dry Ice

Method:

  1. Muddle the blackberries and sage together in a cocktail shaker until broken down and fragrant.
  2. Pour in Dano’s Blanco Tequila, lemon juice, bitters, and maple syrup.
  3. Give it a good shake and pour over either a cube of dry ice (if using) or regular ice if using the dried sage leaf.
  4. If using the dried sage, light the tip on fire right before serving.

Ingredients:

  • 2 oz Villa One Silver
  • 1.5 oz Blood Orange Juice
  • 3/4 oz Fresh Squeezed Lemon Juice
  • 3/4 oz Date Syrup 1:1 Ratio
  • .5 oz Liquor 43
  • 2 dashes Orange Bitters
  • 1 dash Angostura

Method:

  1. Shake and serve over ice.
  2. Garnish with a blood orange slice

Ingredients:

  • 2 oz Broken Shed Vodka
  • ½ oz Lime Juice
  • ½ oz Simple Syrup
  • 1½ oz Pomegranate Juice

Method:

  1. Shake well

Witch’s Caramel Apple

Ingredients:

  • 1 ½ oz Black Button Distilling Apple Pie Moonshine
  • ½ oz Black Button Distilling Four Grain Bourbon
  • 1 oz Caramel Syrup
  • Ginger beer
  • Garnish: Caramel apple slice

Method:

  1. Shake Apple Pie Moonshine, Four Grain Bourbon and caramel syrup and dump into a rocks glass or copper mug.
  2. Top with ginger beer.

Tia Trick‘n’Treat

Ingredients:

  • 25 ml TIA MARIA
  • 25 ml Advocaat
  • 10 ml Orange Juice
  • 10 ml Lime Juice
  • Lemonade Top

Method:

  1. Shake Tia Maria, Advocaat and both juices.
  2. Strain into a glass with fresh ice.
  3. Top with lemonade.
  4. Garnish with colored sweets.

Spicy Devil’s Brew

Ingredients:

  • ½ cups Cranberry Juice Cocktail
  • 6 oz Vita Coco Original Coconut Water
  • 2 cups Triple Sec
  • 1 ½ cups Vodka
  • 1 Chile, Fresh
  • 3 Jalapeños
  • 1 Lime Wedge
  • ½ cup Freshly Squeezed Lime Juice
  • 1 tsp Chili Powder, Ground
  • 3 tbsp Kosher Salt

Method:

  1. Rim glasses with salt and chili powder.
  2. Combine remainder of ingredients, strain and pour.
  3. Serve in a chilled glass.
