Kylie Jenner: mini banana pancakes

In addition to being a makeup mogul and businesswoman, Kylie Jenner is a super-mom with culinary tricks up her sleeve. And here’s the proof: this simple and tasty recipe that she made for her daughter Stormi is to die for.

Ingredients:

- 1 ripe banana

- 1 egg

- 1 cup pancake mix (she used Bisquick Original)

- 1 tablespoon sugar

- ½ cup milk (Kylie prefers Happy Planet oat milk)

- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract

How do you make them?

In a bowl, mash the banana with a fork and then add the pancake mix, stirring well. Now it’s time to add the milk and continue to mix. The next step is to continue mixing in the remaining the ingredients, one by one, until well-combined.

First the egg, then the vanilla and finally the sugar. To make the pancakes, put a non-stick pan over medium heat. Make sure it is slightly greased so they don’t stick.

Use a big spoon or laydel to pour out each pancake onto the pan. Cook until they start to bubble and then flip. Continue this process and repeat until the batter is gone.

Chrissy Teigen: creamy rice pudding

“Creamy, soft, milky, sweet... the perfect cozy dessert,” Chrissy Teigen wrote about this dish on social media. She shared the recipe for this delicious dessert on her recipe blog and it’s also in her personal cookbook.

Ingredients:

- 5 ⅓ cups whole milk (plus more if needed)

- 1 ⅓ cups heavy cream

- ⅓ cup sugar

- ⅓ cup brown sugar

- ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon

- 1 cup pudding rice

- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

- 1 teaspoon orange zest (optional)

- A small piece of a chocolate bar (chill it for a few minutes if you can)

- A pinch of fine sea salt

Preparation:

First, combine five cups of milk, cream, sugar, brown sugar, cinnamon and salt in a medium saucepan and bring to a boil over medium-low heat.

She adds a tip about this part, “make sure to watch it because that milk can boil over in a heartbeat!” Then, stir in the rice. Reduce the heat and simmer on low for 30 minutes, stirring often, until the rice releases its starch and the mixture has thickened (the pudding will continue to thicken as it cools).

Remove from the heat and stir in the orange zest and vanilla, mix well and press aluminum foil on the surface of the pudding and let it cool to room temperature. Then, stir in the remaining ⅓ cup of milk to loosen it up. You can add more milk or cream to get the consistency you want.

Finally, divide the pudding into small bowls and sprinkle with grated chocolate and orange zest to garnish. Mmmm! Simple and delicious.

Salma Hayek: smoothie packed with antioxidants

This actress loves smoothies and it seems she’s passed it down to her daughter. She revealed to People that Valentina loves this recipe. She said that her grandmother taught her that beauty starts in the kitchen, which is something she’s instilled in her offspring.

Ingredients:

- Two or three peeled carrots

- 1 apple (cored)

- ½ small beet

- ¼ cup lemon juice

Preparation:

Simply combine all the ingredients in a blender and blend until you get a uniform consistency. Keep in mind that both carrots and apples have a lot of vitamin A and antioxidants, while beets add a touch of natural sweetness.

Natalie Portman: beet and potato salad

This Oscar winner is a big advocate of veganism; as a bonus, all her recipes have a clever extra use, like this simple salad that she shared on social media. “If you save the beet cooking liquid, you can use it as natural kid makeup afterwards,” she suggested.

In fact, she said that for her first movie Léon: The Professional, when she was only 11 years old, her makeup artist used this trick to add color to her lips and cheeks. So, without further ado, here’s the recipe.

Ingredients:

- 1 cup beets

- 1 cup red potatoes

- 1 tablespoon mustard

- 1 to 3 tablespoons sliced pickles

- Shallots (you can also use leeks or onions)

- Red wine vinegar

Preparation:

Peel the potatoes and beets and cut them into medium-sized cubes. Then, boil them with a pinch of salt in different pots until they are tender (she says it takes about 20 minutes). Drain them in a colander, making sure to remove any excess water, and mix them together in a bowl.

For the dressing, dice the pickles as small as possible and put them in a jar along with the finely chopped shallots, mustard and a splash of vinegar and olive oil. Mix the vinaigrette and pour it into the bowl with the potatoes and beets, combine well and serve.

Jennifer Garner: beet chips

Jennifer Garner is so fun on social media. She picks her own vegetables and is a recipe-sharing pro. Just also uses beets – perfect for satisfying a craving for something sweet – to make a simple snack that you’ll want to try at home. “BEET CHIPS! Naturally sweet and completely addicting,” she wrote.

Take note:

1. Preheat the oven to 250 degrees

2. Wash the beets really well, peel them, and slice them into thin slivers

3. Lightly coat the beets with olive oil and place them on a greased baking sheet

4. Sprinkle them with salt

5. Bake in the oven for one hour

6. Remove and let them cool before eating

Beyoncé: super guacamole

This recipe is so simple that you’re going to want to make a batch right now, especially since it’s backed by the Halo singer. Beyoncé explained the whole process on social media, recommending it for family gatherings.

Ingredients:

- 2 ripe avocados

- 1 small onion

- 1 clove of garlic

- 1 small tomato

- 2 tablespoons lemon juice

- Salt and pepper to taste

Preparation:

Peel the avocados and mash them with a fork (not too much). Then, dice the onion, tomato and clove of garlic. Combine all the ingredients in a bowl (glass is recommended) and mix thoroughly, adding the lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Her tip is to cover it and pop it into the fridge for 20 minutes before serving it with delicious, crunchy tortilla chips or tostadas.

Meghan Markle: Açaí bowl

Meghan Markle loves to cook. Not only has she shown off her skills at fund-raising events, but also on her former blog, The Tig. In fact, this is one of her favorite recipes, and thankfully, she recreated it together with Athena Calderone from EyeSwoon. Here are all the details for this simple and healthy breakfast idea.

You’ll need:

- 1 package of frozen açaí

- 1/3 cup almond milk

- 1 ripe banana

- A handful of frozen berries (can be strawberries, blackberries, raspberries, blueberries, etc.)

- Coconut flakes

Preparation:

The key to this recipe is that it should be thick, so add the almond milk slowly as you blend. Another suggestion that Prince Harry ’s wife offers: have a bowl waiting in the freezer that you can use to prepare the dish; it will help maintain the temperature and consistency longer.

Blend the açaí, half of the banana and the frozen berries. Add the almond milk in slowly. To serve, place the mixture in the bowl and sprinkle it with the coconut flakes, the remaining banana half (sliced), honey and your favorite berries.

You’ll need:

Wholegrain rice, watercress, onions, black sesame seeds, carrots, radishes, green onions, and beets.

Instructions:

Cook the rice and gently chop up the other ingredients. Add the rice to a bowl, along with all the other ingredients, and combine. You can even add your favorite vinaigrette. This recipe contains vegetables that are high in fiber, which will aid your digestion.
