Things have been a little crazy lately and somewhat up in the air. Because of it, our normal has become something a bit different. In light of all the recent health concerns surrounding the coronavirus, many have switched to working from home and distancing themselves from family and friends in an effort to help contain the spread of COVID-19. In comes the virtual happy hour. People everywhere are now jumping on several video chatting platforms to connect with friends, coworkers and relatives to toast to good health and help maintain the ties that keep us together. Below we’ve included several cocktails you can enjoy at your next virtual gathering.

Mama Yak from La Placita

Ingredients:

0.75 oz Passion Fruit Syrup

0.75 oz Lime Juice

0.75 oz Tangerine Juice

1 oz Don Q Cristal Rum

0.5 oz Plantation Pineapple Rum

2 dashes of Angostura Aromatic Bitter

Preparations:

1 - Mix ingredients in glass of choice and enjoy!

Guava Te Mule from La Placita

Ingredients:

0.75 oz of Guava & Ginger Syrup

0.75 oz of Lime Juice

1.5 oz of Effen Vodka

1 oz of Ginger Beer

Dash of Earl Grey Tea

2 dashes of Boston Bitters

Preparations:

1 - Mix all of the ingredients in a glass of choice and enjoy!

Aperol Spritz

Ingredients:

Ice cubes

Chilled Prosecco Aperol Soda, served from syphon or chilled bottle

Slice of orange

Preparations:

1 - In a glass full of ice, combine Prosecco followed by Aperol in equal parts. Add a splash of soda and garnish with an orange slice.

Belvedere Eastern Standard

Ingredients:

1.5 oz. of Belvedere Vodka

.75 oz. of Simple Syrup

3-4 Mint Leaves

3 Cucumber Slices

Preparations:

1 - Place all ingredients except for cucumber into a shaker and shake.

2 - Strain spritz or coupe glass. Garnish with cucumber.

Ingredients:

2 oz of True Vodka

0.5 oz of Simple Syrup

3 oz of ice tea

3 oz of housemade lemonade

Preparations:

1 - Mix all the ingredients together in a glass of choice and enjoy!

Sweeter than Honey from The New Standard in Winter Park, Florida

Ingredients:

1.5 oz of Jack Daniels Honey

2.5 oz of Sour Mix, or equal parts lemon and lime juice

.5 oz of simple syrup

Preparations:

1 - Shake vigorously in a tin and pour over ice.

2 - Serve with a lemon wheel.

TIPS: If you don't have Jack Honey, substitute .5oz of honey for the simple syrup with Jack Daniels. You can also substitute lemonade for the sour mix, but lemonade is already sweet, so you’ll need to adjust the amount of honey or simple syrup to taste.

Twisted Gimlet From Terralina Crafted Italian at Disney Springs

Ingredients:

2 Mint Sprigs

1 Slice of Cucumber

¾ oz of Simple Syrup

1 oz of Stoli Blueberry Vodka

1 oz of Malfy Original Gin

Preparations:

1 - Muddle cucumber, mint and simple syrup, then add liquor.

2 - Shake and strain into rocks glass over ice. Garnish with a lime twist.

Ingredients:

1 oz of Belvedere Vodka

2 oz of Pear Juice

1 Rosemary Sprig

3 oz of Chandon Brut

Preparations:

1 - Combine all ingredients except in a shaker. Shake with ice, strain, and top with Chandon. Garnish with lemon wedge.
