On February 8, designer Prabal Gurung unveiled his Fall ready-to-wear collection during New York Fashion Week at Manhattan’s iconic Surrogate’s Court building.
Gurung’s meticulous attention to detail was evident throughout the presentation—overseeing model rehearsals and finalizing hair and makeup looks to arranging VIP seating.
Inspired by his upcoming memoir, 'Walk Like a Girl', set to hit shelves on May 13, the designer presented 41 looks featuring a diverse palette. The collection juxtaposes soft pastels—think blush pink, mint green, and baby blue—with timeless hues such as red, blue, white, cream, and violet.
Sheer fabrics, feathers, and leather added a touch of sensuality to versatile ensembles that effortlessly transitioned from day to night, including tailored jacket and pant or skirt separates, dresses, and coats.
Front row attendees included style icon Anna Wintour, fashion influencer Fern Malis, acclaimed filmmakers Berry Jenkins and Lulu Wang, as well as creative directors from Oscar de la Renta and Monse, alongside noted designers Fernando García and Laura Kim.
